CLG Grant Application

The Ohio Historic Preservation Office announces a second funding round for federal fiscal year 2010. Current CLG communities and those certified by June 1, 2010 are eligible to apply for CLG grants in this round.

The grants will be awarded on a 60:40 basis; that is, up to 60% of the total project cost can be paid by the CLG grant, 40% funded with local match. Local match can be any combination of cash, in-kind or volunteer time, or donated materials. CDBG funds are an allowable match. The Ohio Historic Preservation Office estimates approximately $60,000 will be available. The project period will be August 1, 2010 - September 1, 2011.

The CLG grant application format, application guidelines, and the annual funding announcement which lists this year’s state historic preservation priorities for this round remain the same as announced previously. These materials can be obtained electronically, but submission of the application must be made in hard copy [original and 7 copies]. The application deadline is June 1, 2010.
