Section 106 Information from the Ohio Historic Preservation Office

Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act requires federal agencies to take into account the effects of federally assisted undertakings on historic properties. The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation administers the Section 106 review process in partnership with the state historic preservation office established in each state. In Ohio, this is the Ohio Historic Preservation Office (OHPO) of the Ohio Historical Society. The following information and resources are provided to aid with compliance under Section 106.
