National History Day is June 14th- 18th at the Unversity of Maryland in College Park.
2009 National History Day in Ohio delegates will recieve a packet of information directly following the Awards Ceremony at the Southern Theater.
Delegates will recieve:
- Information regarding online registration
- Information on group travel to College Park
- A T-shirt to wear the NHD Awards Ceremony on June 19th
- Information about staying in the dorms
- A packet of buttons for trading at NHD
The National History Day in Ohio staff will also schedule time to meet with and consult students on their entries. Meetings are not required, but will help students understand the NHD process.
Tentative 200 National History Day Schedule:
June 14th: - Welcome Ceremony, Registration
NHD-OH will have a meeting in the dorm lounge
June 15th: - Junior Judging
NHD-OH will start a disposable camera scavenger hunt
A trip for Senior students
June 16th: - Senior Judging
Junior Run-Offs
A trip for Junior students
June 17th: - Senior Run-Offs
Trip to Washington D.C. to meet with Congressional Represenatives or Senators
NHD-OH pizza party and sign making
June 18th: - Awards Ceremony
