Don't Be Blind, Speak Your Minds!
Ohio Historical Center, COLUMBUS
7 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Women of the 19th century were told to mind their homes, raise their children and care for their husbands. That was until some women began to want more. Listen and learn how far women have come and perhaps how far they have yet to go in achieving equal rights from Mrs. Abigail White, a member of the Ohio contingent for Women's Rights. Echoes in Time Theatre presents 30-minute, solo performances exploring characters from America's past. Show times are at 7 and 8 p.m. Admission: $8/adult, $7/senior, $4/child (ages 6-12) and FREE/OHS members and children 5 years old and under. Parking is $4 and FREE for members.

From the Pubs of Ireland
Ohio Village, COLUMBUS
6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m.

For centuries, a major pastime for the Irish was to sit around a turf fire sharpening their wits and outdoing each other in storytelling, joking and singing. The festivities begin as guests enter the American House Hotel to the strains of Irish instrumental music and a taste of St. Paddy's Punch. Those who wish to purchase something "a wee bit stronger" may stop in the Tavern where the barkeep will be happy to oblige. Costumed interpreters will escort you to your table in the pub where a hearty meal will satisfy your appetite and prepare you for the hilarity to come. The Ohio Village Singers promise to please you with their favorite Irish music including beautiful melodies as well as humorous drinking songs...and, of course, a wee bit of Irish wit and wisdom. At the conclusion of the evening, guests will receive a special surprise memento. Admission: $57/adult, $47/Ohio Historical Society member. Parking is $4 and FREE to members. For reservations, call 800.686.1541.
