Meet Author and Storyteller Adrienne Heard

Adrienne Heard, the author of Aunt Rosie's Grandmother's Quilt, will read from her popular book about an Underground Railroad quilt adventure. The overarching theme of her pulse-pounding narrative is quilts made by African Americans, which ties into the National Afro-American Museum's popular exhibition, Quilting African American Women's History: Our Challenges, Creativity, and Champions that is on view until Nov. 8.
